Obit., mid-Missouri newspaper, 1942 - "Henry Balkenbush, Jr. 17 year old son of Attorney and Mrs. Henry Balkenbush of Linn, died in Jefferson City at St. Mary's Hospital Tuesday morning ( April 1942) shortly after 12o'clock of a lung infection which apparently developed into pneumonia. Funeral services are being held this morning at St. George Catholic Church in Linn with Rev. Father Gerhard Schmidt officiating at the requiem mass. Burial will be in the church cemetery in east Linn."
