Obit. from Jefferson City Post Tribune, 11 Feb. 1999, Jefferson City, Missouri: "Stanley "Fuzzy" Bax, 53, Koeltztown, died February 10, 1999 at Capital Region Medical Center. He was born December 5, 1945, in Jefferson City, a son of August and Hilda Bax. He was employed by International Shoe Company until 1970. He then operated Bax's Tavern, Argyle, for 15 years, and worked for LaCasa Mexican Restaurant and Capital Plaza Hotel for 10 years. He was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, Koelztown, and Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie 2693. Survivors include: three brothers, Charles Bax, Argyle, Julian Bax, Jefferson City, and Daniel Bax, Meta; and two sisters Norma Jean Bax, Koelztown, and Carol Fisher, Argyle. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Boniface Catholic Church. Msgr Ralph G Kutz will officiate. Burial will be in St. Boniface Cemetery."
