Obituary - NEWS-TRIBUNE, Jefferson City, Missouri, Sunday, July 26, 1998: "Randy D Bax, 48, Loose Creek, died July 24, 1998 at Boone Hospital Center, Columbia. He was born February 22, 1950 in Dixon, a son of Delbert and Ruby Strickland Bax, who survive in Jefferson City. He was married August 9, 1969 in Argyle, to Helen M Massman, who survives at the home. A lifelong area resident, he graduated from Fatima High School in 1968. He was self-employed in the timber logging business and also owned and operated a sign business. Other survivors include two sons, Scott D Bax, Jefferson City and Tracy R Bax of the home; five brothers: Roger Bax, Gary Bax, Adlai Bax, Arnold Bax, and John Bax, all of Jefferson City, three sisters: Glenda Howard, St. Louis, and Brenda Taggart and Tina Schmutzler, both of Jefferson City; and two grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Aloysius Catholic Church, Argyle. The Rev. Ralph G Kutz will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery."
