Obituary from Mid- Missouri newspaper, December 1973: MR. MORGAN, HENLEY, DIES Stanley J. Morgan, St., 45, Henley died Sunday at his home (12 Dec. 1973). Mr. Morgan was born May 25, 1928 at Mary's Home, the son of Robert and Elizabeth Rehagen Morgan. On Oct. 28, 1950, he was married at Mary's Home to the former Rose Bax, who survives. A US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, he was a member of Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church, Mary's Home, and a lifelong resident of the community. He was a carpenter. Other survivors include; Two sons, Michael Morgan of Russellville and Stanley J. Morgan, Jr. of Mary's Home; three daughters, Mrs. Wanda Moore of Mary's Home, Miss Deborah Morgan and Miss Christie Morgan, both of the home; three brothers, Donald Morgan and Robert Morgan, both of Osage City, and Marshall Morgan of Eldon. Four sisters, Mrs. Bonnie Slates of Palmyra, Mrs. Shirley Mulrenin of Lebanon, Mrs. Delores Burns of Holts Summit and Mrs. Alice Bounds of Jefferson City; and four granddaughters. The rosary will be prayed at 8 pm today at the Phillips Funeral Home Chapel, Eldon. Funeral Services will be held at 10 am Tuesday at Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church, Mary's Home conducted by the Ft. Leonard Wood military team."
