Obit., mid-Missouri newspaper, 1976: " Mrs. Helen R. Bryant, 81, Jefferson City, died Friday (Jan. 15, 1976) night at a hospital there after a long illness. She was born Jan. 28, 1894, in Linn, the daughter of Dr. Charles E. and Augusta Evans Davies. She was married Aug. 17, 1917 in Springfield to Harry Lee Bryant, who died June 13, 1944. Survivors include: one son, Ralph Bryant, Seattle, Wash.; and one sister, Mrs. Charlotte Davis, Cushing, Okla.; Funeral services were held Tuesday in the Buescher Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Marvin Niblack officiating. Burial was in the National Cemetery."
