Obit., 1974 - mid-Missouri newspaper: " Leo Henry Bure, 53, of Argyle, died Saturday, Dec. 21, 1974, at a Columbia hospital Mr. Bure was born at Brinktown, June 8, 1921, the son of Joseph F. and Johanna Renneke Bure. He was employed as a carpenter. Survivors include; five brothers, - Anton S. Bure and Joseph G. Bure, both of Westphalia; Fred Bure, Florissant; and Herbert Bure, Koeltztown; and three sisters, Miss Rose Bure, St. Louis; Mrs. Hermina Peposky, Pine Bluff, Ark.; and Mrs. Gertrude Blanks, Jefferson City. Funeral services were Tuesday at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Argyle, with the Rev. Ralph Kutz officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery." (Was Fred Bure m. to Mary J. Falter??)
