Obit., mid-Missouri newspaper, 1979: " Mr. Agathon Wilde, a former Westphalia native, died at the age of 79 in St. Louis ( Feb 1979). Surviving are an only son and one brother, and six grandchildren. Son Wallace and his children, Elizabeth, Jeffry, Steven, Sarah, David and Eric live in St. Louis. Brother Joe and Mrs. Wilde are from Freeburg, Mo.. Funeral services were held at St. Clement's in St. Louis, with burial in the parish cemetery at Westphalia. Fr. Peter Walsh officiated at the graveside services."
