Obituary: Mid-Missouri newspaper, Nov. 1970: "August John Boehm, 62, of Argyle, died Sunday, Nov. 29 (1970) at a Fulton hospital He was born Sept. 3, 1908 in Maries County, the son of Edward and Mary Steinmann Boehm. He was married to the former Lucy Wieberg, who is deceased. Survivors include: one daughter - Mrs. George Hoffman of Waterloo, Iowa and six grandchildren. Services were held at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Argyle, with burial in the parish cemetery."
