Bax, 47, died Friday, Feb. 28, 1975, at a St. Louis Hospital after an illness of about one year. Mr. Bax was born May 17, 1927, in Koeltztown to Herman and Christine Loehner Bax. He was married to Virginia Hilke on May 1, 1954. She survives. He was employed by the General Motors Corporation and resided in St. Ann. Other survivors include his mother, two daughters - Miss Laura and Miss Linda Bax, both of the home; one brother - Alphonse Bax of St. Louis, and one sister, Mrs. Lidwina Schwartze of Meta. Funeral services were held Monday at St. Kevin's Church, St. Louis. Burial was in the parish cemetery. "
