Obit., mid-Missouri newspaper, 1979: " Herman Luebbert, formerly of Koeltztown, died Wednesday, Oct 17, 1979 in St. Louis. He was 88 years old. He was born in Koeltztown on Aug. 21, 1891, the son of Henry and Frances Sandbothe Luebbert. He was married on April 24, 1917 in Koeltztown to the former Miss Mary Otto, who passed away Aug. 26, 1979. He was a retired carpenter. Mr. Luebbert was a member of the St. Boniface Catholic Church in Koeltztown, where the funeral service was held Saturday, Oct. 20, with the Msgr. Ralph Kutz officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery. Survivors include: one son, Linus Lubbert of St. Louis; two daughters, Mrs. Anna Marie Deardoff of Carmichael, Calif.; and Mrs. Monica Ogolin of St. Louis; two sisters, Mrs. Frances Meitner of Olathe, Kan.; and Mrs. Gertrude Hochstatter of Pecos, Texas.; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Dulle Funeral Home in Westphalia."
