Obit., 1968 - mid-Missouri newspaper: Marshall Doctor found Dead "The search has ended for Dr. Richard F Aiken of Marshall, Missouri who had been missing since August 29, 1968 after his private plane assumedly went down somewhere between Wulff Harbor and Marshall. Body and plane were located just 3 miles from take-off point Sunday by David Yarger, a Versailles attorney. Civil Air Patrol had been conducting a search since the first report of missing and called off operation after almost a week of continuous search. Participating in the search from the Linn Commu nity were 1st Lt. Glen Mangam, T/Sgt Allan Mangam, Cadet Gregory Branson and Cadet Ted Albin."
