She was born September 2, 1889 in Koeltztown, Missouri, the daughter of Jacob and Margaret Singer Weidinger. She was married on October 19, 1909 to Frank B. Bax, who died on November 20, 1957. Mrs. Bax was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church, St. Elizabeth, and a member of the St. Ann's Society. Survivors include : 3 sons, Sam Bax and Emil Bax of St. Elizabeth, Jacob Bax of Palmyra, Missouri - 6 daughters, Mrs. Lucy Kemna of Brentwood, Missouri, Mrs. Frances Groner & Mrs. Laurentia Blomberg, both of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Mrs. Addie Allen of Ferguson; Mrs. Helen Herndon and Mrs. Hattie Hitch, both of St. Louis; 1 sister, Mrs. Katie Doyle of Freeburg - 4 half sisters - Miss Rose Weidinger and Mrs. Jennie Jurgensmyer, both of Columbia; Mrs. Sophie Kemna of Kansas City, Missouri and Mrs. Lizzie Redel of Vienna; - 1 half brother, Phillip Weidinger of Columbia; and - 33 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Funeral Services were held at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, St. Elizabeth, with burial in the parish cemetery."
