Obit., mid-Missouri newspaper: Grothe Services Held 11 January 1968 Funeral services were held recently at the Immaculate Conception Church at Arnold, Missouri for Mr. Clifford Grothe, 35, who died suddenly. He is survived by his wife, Catherine, and four children, Jean, Barbara, Joseph, and Steven. Mrs. Grothe is the former Catherine Staggenborg, the granddaughter of the late Dr. John H. Nolte and Emily Nolte and great granddaughter of the Late Theodore and Julia Heinen. Among those attending the funeral of Mr. Grothe were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Helmig and Mrs. Ida Hausmann of Loose Creek, Rev. Father Herbert Holterman of Mountain View, Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Nolte, Mr. and Mrs. Fred LaMatte, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Beritz and son, and Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Tellman and daughter, all of St. Louis and Mr. and Mrs. John Ochterbeek of Chesterfield.
