Mid-Missouri newspaper, 1923: Mrs. John B Griffin, nee Geiser Mrs. John B Griffith departed this life at her home in Linn, Missouri, October 1, 1923 after an illness extending over a period of 7 years. Mrs. Griffith, nee Geiser, was born in Osage County, Missouri May 18, 1867. She was married to John B Griffith in the county of her birth December 22, 1887. Besides her husband, she is survived by the following children: Mrs. Edmond Perry of Linn, Mrs. A. C. Bastin of St. Louis; Harry E Griffith of Jefferson City; Harvey J. Griffith of Denver, Colorado, Mrs. Clarence H. Bradley and Miss Iris of Jefferson City, Miss Olive of St. Louis, and Miss Loraine of Linn. Funeral services were conducted at the Methodist Church Thursday morning by the pastor, Rev. Walker.
