Obituarym mid-Missouri newspaper, 1995: Anna G. Bax, 87, of Mary's Home died Sunday, December 31, 1995, in Jefferson City. She was born December 24, 1908 in Mary's Home to Henry and Sophie Lepper Kempker. On May 22, 1928, she was married in Mary's Home to Andrew J. Bax, who died November 9, 1966. Mrs. Bax was a lifetime resident of the Mary's Home community. She was a member of Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church in Mary's Home and it's Ladies Altar Sodality. She also was a member of the Mary's Home Senior Citizens Group. Surviving her are a son, Elmer Bax of Jefferson City; two daughters, Geneva Mormann of Mary's Home and Lucille Mormann of Olean; three sisters, Alma Loethen and Hilda Doerhoff, both of Mary's Home, and Martha Schulte of Henley; eight grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and one great great grandson. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church, with the Rev. William Korte officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery.
