Obit., mid-Missouri newspaper, 1972: Otto H Groene Buried Friday "Otto H Groene, 57, of 220 Gunderman Street, Grove City, Ohio, passed away at his home Tuesday, October 24, 1972. He was the son of the late George and Meta Mueller Groene. Mr. Groene was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Grove City, Ohio and a member of the Grove City Kiwanis Club. He is survived by his wife, Irene, a son, Robert L Groene of Phoenix, Arizona; two daughters, Mrs. James (Jeanne) Gorman and Ruth Groene, both of Grove City and four grandchildren: Lisa, Matt, Andy and Ty Gorman. There are three brothers: Bernard of Minnesota, Henry of Nebraska, Martin of Gray Summit, Missouri; two sisters: Mrs. Elise Harfst of Jefferson City and Mrs. Anna Roper of Illinois. Funeral services were held Friday, October 27th at 9 a.m. at the Miller Funeral Home in Grove City, Ohio with the pastors, David Nixon and Armin Barnick officiating. Interment with in Concord Cemetery in Grove City, Ohio."
