Obituary, mid-Missouri newspaper: " Agnes G. Ilse, 82, Jefferson City, died Thursday (Aug. 18, 1983) at a Jefferson City hospital. She was born Jan. 21, 1901 in Westphalia, a daughter of August and Louise Meyer Lueckenhoff. She was married April 27, 1926 in Westphalia to Harry Ilse, who died in 1965. A homemaker, she was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church and the Ladies Sodality. Survivors include: one son, Bill Isle, Lincolnton, N. C.; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Lou Berendzen and Mrs. Marjorie Schoenen, both of Jefferson City; one brother, Clem Lueckenhoff, Dearborn, Mich.; two sisters, Lavina Lueckenhoff, Jefferson City; and Joan Lueckenhoff, S.S. M. of the Mother House in St. Louis; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Saturday in the St. Peter Catholic Church with the Rev. Kevin Gormley officiating. Burial was in the St. Joseph Cemetery, Westphalia."
