Obituary, 1982 - Mid-Missouri newspaper: " Joseph Bernard Boehmer, 78, Rich Fountain, died Sunday, April 4, 1982, at St. Mary's Health Center. He was born November 25, 1903, at Rich Fountain, the son of Henry and Anna Klebba Boehmer. On June 27, 1943, he was married to Hildegard Neuner, who survives at the home. Mr. Boehmer was a retired railroad car builder in the St. Louis area. He moved back to the Rich Fountain area after his retirement. He was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Survivors include: one brother, Adolph Boehmer, Linn; and several nieces and nephews. Services were held Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Rich Fountain. Msgr. Leonard Fick officiated. Burial was in the parish cemetery."
