Jefferson City, Missouri newspaper, Tuesday October 15, 1996 - Obit. Delbert Stanley Bax, 49, Jefferson City, died Saturday at St. Mary's Health Center. He was born Sept. 28, 1947 in Babbtown, a son of Louis C. and Gertrude Johanna Voss Bax. He was married June 6, 1970 in Wichita Falls, TX, to Charlene Joy Maze, who survives at the home. An air force veteran of the Vietnam War, he was a member of Our Lady of Snows Catholic Church, Mary's Home, where he taught CCD Classes for nine years. He worked as a truck driver for Genex in Jefferson City for more than 20 years. Other survivors include: 4 sons, Rocky Bax of Taos, Rodney Bax of Jefferson City and Ricky and Robby Bax, both of the home; one daughter, Rebecca Bax of Jefferson City; five sisters, Mary Ellen Kleffner, Bernice Redel, Lucille Schmitz and Laverne Rhodes, all of Jefferson City, and Lorraine Hoecker of St. Elizabeth, and one grandson. Services will be Wednesday at St. Cecelia Catholic Church in Meta and burial in St. Cecelia Cemetery."
