Obituary, 1977 - mid- Missouri newspaper: "Stanley W. Bungart, 39, Henley, died today (October 3, 1977) at Charles E. Still Hospital after a long illness. He was born Feb. 12, 1938, at St. Louis, the son of Otto and Ida Heimricks Bungart. He was married June 8, 1963, at Jefferson City, to Patricia Ann Harris, who survives at the home. Mr. Bungart attended the Immaculate Conception schools and had been a life-long resident of Jefferson City and Henley. He was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, and was employed at the Farmers Concrete Company until illness forced his retirement. Other survivors include: Two sons, Robert James and William Frank Bungart, both of the home; one daughter, Lorie Faye Bungart of the home; two brothers, Richard Schneiders, Tracy, Calif.; and Lawrence Bungart, Carbondale, Kans.; and three sisters, Mrs. Rosemary Wilbers, Holts Summit; Mrs. Patricia Helming (sp??), Linn; and Mrs. Betty Jo Tyler, Tracey, Calif.. Services will be held Wednesday at the Buescher Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Paul Patterson officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery."
