Obit., 1932 - mid-Missouri newspaper: "Death visited the home of Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Abe of Belle on October 22, 1932 and took to the great beyond the soul of their daughter Lillian, aged 13 years. She had made her confession to the M.E. Church and had been a member of same for two years. She had been afflicted with diabetes for the past ten months. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Julius Wegener of Eldon at the M. E. Church at Belle, Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock and was buried at the Liberty cemetery south of Belle."
