Obituary, February 1975, Unterrified Democrat: " Mrs. Carrie Brauner, 66, of Jefferson City, died last Wednesday ( February 5, 1975) at St. Joseph's Home for the Aged. Mrs. Brauner was born Jan. 29, 1909, at Linn, the daughter of John and Catherine Maassen Franken. She was married on August 27, 1929, at Jefferson City to Lester Brauner, who died Sept. 15, 1961. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church and Circle No. 322, the Daughters of Isabella. Survivors include two brothers; Paul Franken and Hubert Franken, and one sister Mrs. Cecelia Vanderfeltz. Funeral services were held Saturday at Immaculate Conception Church with Rev. Richard Cronin officiating. Burial was in Resurrection Cemetery."
