Obit., mid-Missouri newspaper, Thursday, October 16, 1941: " Paul John Wegman was born Dec. 8, 1868 at Koeltztown, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Wegman and passed away at his home at Freeburg Saturday morning. He was united in marriage 48 years ago to Miss Mary Luebbert at Koeltztown and to this union was born 11 children. His widow and 7 children survive him. They are: Mrs. Mary Enright, St. Louis; Frank and Fred of Wasco, Calif.; Mrs. Catherine Willibrandt and Mrs. Alma Buechler, Freeburg; Herman of the home and Mrs. Wilma Unash, Joplin. There are also 3 sister and 3 brothers, 12 grandchildren."
