Obituary, mid-Missouri newspaper, 1976: "Mrs. Cecelia G. Bisges, 81, of Jefferson City, died Friday, (June 2, 1976) at a nursing home there after an illness of six months. She was born Oct. 24, 1894 in Mary's Home, the daughter of Henry and Anna Lueckenotto Grafe. On Feb. 9, 1915, she was married in St. Thomas to John Peter Bisges, who died Dec. 24, 1952. Survivors include: three sons - Clarence Bisges of Freeburg, Anton Bisges of Jefferson City, and Hugo Bisges of Westphalia; two daughters - Mrs. Angela Martin of Lawrence, Kansas and Mrs. Gertrude Schroer of Rt. 1, Jefferson City. One brother - Leo Grafe of Meta; four sisters - Mrs. Clara Schmidt of Osage Bend, Mrs. Pauline Rackers of Kansas City, Miss Catherine Grafe of Shawnee Mission, Kansas and Mrs. Mathilda Veit of Folk, and 18 grandchildren. Funeral services were Friday at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Koeltztown, with burial in the parish cemetery."
