Obit., mid-Missouri newspaper, 1990: "Leo T. Schneider, 97, Freeburg, died Tuesday ( January 9, 1990) at the Missouri Veterans Home. He was born July 9, 1892, in Westphalia, the son of Chris and Clara Rehagen Schneider. He was married Nov. 12, 1919, in Koeltztown, to Cecilia Loehner, who died Feb. 2, 1968. A retired farmer, Mr. Schneider was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church, Freeburg, the Married Men's Sodality, and was a charter member of American Legion Post No. 317, Freeburg. Survivors include: three sons, Bernard Schneider, Jefferson City, Raymond "Judge" Schneider, St. Louis, and Elmer Schneider, Freeburg; one sister, Martha Schneiders, Jefferson City; and eight grandchildren. A daughter, Albina McCormack, preceded him in death. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Holy Family Catholic Church, Freeburg. The Rev. John Groner will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. today at Dulle Funeral Home, Westphalia, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Memorials are suggested to the Holy Family Catholic Church."
