    3. Obituary, 1975- mid-Missouri newspaper: "Agnes M. Barnhart, 61, Meta, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 23, 1975, at a Jefferson City hospital where she had been a patient since Dec. 7th. Mrs. Barnhart was born Oct. 8, 1914, in Miller County near Iberia, the daughter of Wm. and Rosie Pendleton Copeland. She was united in marriage on Oct. 19, 1935, in Vienna to John W. Barnhart, who survives. Mrs. Barnhart lived most of all her life near Meta where she was a member of Camp Ground Christian Church. She had been employed for over 20 years at the Brown Shoe Co., in Dixon where she was a member of Local # 751 Boot and Shoe Workers Union. Preceding her in death were her parents; one daughter, Mrs. Allie Sloan, and two brother, Orville and Iven Copeland. Other survivors include: one daughter, Mrs. Audrey Duncan, Dixon; two sisters, Eva Prater and Lillian Roark, both of Dixon; two brothers, Gussie Copeland, Dixon; and Virgil Copeland of Rolla; six grandsons and one granddaughter. Funeral services were held Friday, Dec. 26, in the Stevinson Chapel in Iberia with Rev. Earl Jones officiating. Burial was in the Wheeler Cemetery. Pallbearers were Burl Copeland, Steadman Copeland, Rosell Seaton, Harold Grosvenor, Paul Laughridge, Dwight Sims and Berry Blankenship."
