Obit., mid-Missouri newspaper, 1984: " Fritz Joseph Wieberg, 85, Argyle, died Tuesday, Nov. 13, (1984) at a Jefferson City hospital following a lengthy illness. He was born April 13, 1899, in Argyle, the son of Joe and Anna Luebbert Wieberg. He was married May 14, 1924, in Argyle to Catherine Brunnert, who died Jan. 7, 1965. A farmer, he was a member of the St. Aloysius Parish and the Knights of Columbus Council No. 2047. Survivors include: six sons, Albert Wieberg, Edmund Wieberg and Urban Wieberg, all of Argyle; and Jim Wieberg, Union, Ildephonse Wieberg, Villa Ridge; and John Wieberg, of Robertsville; four daughters, Mrs. Rita Payne, St. Louis; Mrs. Helen Copeland, St. Peters; Mrs. Ermina Dickens, Pacific; and Mrs. Veronica McCormick, Rose Bud, Ark.; two sisters, Mrs. Rose Kampeter, Jefferson City; and Mrs. Mary Welch, California; and 37 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Friday at the St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Argyle, with Msgr. Ralph GO. Katz officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery."
