Stigler Sent: Thursday, March 05, 2009 11:40 AM Subject: Greichen/Linhardt obituary Mrs. Herman Greichen Dies At Hospital Mrs. Caroline Johanna Greichen died Tuesday, February 21, 1967, at the Memorial Hospital in Jefferson City after being admitted 5 days earlier. Mrs. Greichen was born December 16, 1899 the daughter of Benjamin Linhardt and his wife Mary Arnsmeyer Linhardt, in the Freedom Community, where she lived her entire life. On October 20, 1921 she was united in marriage to Herman C Greichen, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Herman C. Greichen, Jr.; and a daughter, Mrs. Ray (Velma) Hicks of Jefferson City; 3 grandchildren; a brother, William Linhardt of Route 1, Linn; and a sister, Mrs. Emil Heidbrink also of Linn route. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, February 23, at 2 p.m. at the Pilgrim Lutheran Church at Freedom with Rev. H. F. Leischeidt officiating.
