Obit., mid-Missouri newspaper, 1979: "Mrs. Anna Bruegging, 90, Linn, died February 23 (1979) at a Fulton hospital. She was born June 27, 1888 at Linn, the daughter of Philip and Mary Huckstep Kloeppel. She was married to Ben H. Bruegging, who died in 1957. She was a member of St. George Catholic church, Linn. Survivors include: one son, Vincent Bruegging, Kansas City; three sisters, Mrs. William Scott, San Diego, Calif.; Mrs. Katherine Briggs, Linn; and Mrs. Betty Wilkerson, Inkster, Mich.; and two grandchildren. Services were held Tuesday at St. George Church, Linn with the Rev. Edwin Schmidt officiating. Burial was in the Resurrection Cemetery, Jefferson City.
