Obit., 1976 - mid-Missouri newspaper: " Harry A. Bathe, 63, of St. Louis, died Friday, Oct. 15, (1976) at Christian Northeast Hospital after a brief illness. He was born at Argyle on Feb. 16, 1913, the son of the late Judge George and Elizabeth Bathe. Harry and his family moved to St. Louis in 1941, and he was employed with Century Electric until his retirement in 1975. He is survived by his wife, the former Alice Marie Hartman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hartman of Linn; one daughter, Mrs. Charles (Mary Alyce) Connoyer; two sons, George and James; one sister, Tess; and two brothers, Matt and Andrew, all of St. Louis. Rose Schulte preceded him in death. He is also survived by ten grandchildren. He was a member of the Lewis and Clark Chapter of Retired Persons., Number 747. Funeral services were held at St. Jerome's Catholic Church on Oct. 18. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery"
