Obit., mid-Missouri newspaper, 1976: "Mrs. Bret Buried at Bonnots Mill" " Mrs. Agnes M. Bret, 90, of Bonnots Mill, died Tuesday, July 20 (1976) at a Jefferson City rest home. Mrs. Bret was born March 1, 1886 at Loose Creek, the daughter of Herman and Mathilda Otto Stiefermann. She was married Nov. 26, 1906 at Loose Creek to Louis Bret, who preceded her in death. She was a member of the St. Louis Catholic Church, Bonnots Mill, St. Ann's Sodality, and the Legion of Mary of the church. Survivors include: seven sons, Arthur Bret, Griffin, Ind.; Elmo Bret, Jefferson City; Leonard Bret, Los Angeles, Calif.; Urban Bret, Denver, Colo.; Alvin Bret, Tucson, Ariz.; Clarence Bret, Tipton and Louis Bret, Erie, Pa.; 20 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Saturday at the St. Louis Cathedral, Bonnots Mill. The Rev. George Kramer officiated. Burial was in the parish cemetery."
