Obit., mid-Missouri newspaper - 1971: " Mrs. Clara C. Bunch, 54, of Frankenstein, died at her home Friday night, June 18 (1971). Mrs. Bunch was born at Frankenstein, May 17, 1917 to Joseph and Johanna Schroeder Gelven. She was married November 20, 1937 at Frankenstein to Buell C. Bunch. He survives. Other survivors include a son, William J. Bunch of Frankenstein; a daughter, Mrs. August Nilges of Loose Creek; a sister, Mrs. Maria Ann Huesgen of St. Louis; and four brothers - Ray B. Gelven, Bonnots Mill; Nelson H. Gelven, St. Ann; Carl H. and Arthur H. Gelven, both of St. Louis. There are three grandchildren. Mrs. Bunch was a member of Our Lady of Help Catholic Church in Frankenstein and the Ladies Altar Society of that church. Funeral services were held Monday at Our Lady of Help Church with the Rev. Joseph Lorenz, pastor, officiating. Burial was in the Garden of Gethsemane Cemetery with Morton Funeral Home in charge."
