Obit., mid-Missouri newspaper, 1977: " Anton S. Baumhoer, 76, died Wednesday night, May 4, (1977) at the home of his son at Holts Summit. Mr. Baumhoer had been in ill health the last three and one-half years. He was born Sept. 20, 1900 at Folk, the son of Frank and Elizabeth Weschi Baumhoer. On Oct. 27, 1936 at Folk, he was married to Martha Heckman, who died May 18, 1976. A retired farmer, Mr. Baumhoer was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Folk. Other survivors include: two sons, Franklin Baumhoer, Folk; and Roger Baumhoer, Holts Summit; three daughters, Mrs. Juliana Baier, Jefferson City; Patricia Baumhoer, Folk; and Mrs. Elenor (sp?) Laudzers, Holts Summit. Two brothers, Aloys Baumhoer, Linn; and Frank Baumhoer, St. Louis; six sisters, Miss Anna, Miss Clara, Miss Cecelia Baumhoer, and Mrs. Bernadine Kline, all of St. Louis; Mrs. Agnes Bexten, Westphalia; and Mrs. Elizabeth Verhoff, Argyle, and 16 grandchildren. Services were held Saturday at St. Anthony's Church at Folk with Msgr. Gerald Kaiser officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery."
