Obit., 1975 - mid-Missouri newspaper; " Joseph H. Bescheinen of Loose Creek died suddenly at his home Aug. 23, 1975. He was 63 years old. Born August 19, 1912, he was the son of Frank and Catherine Schaefer Bescheinen. On April 3, 1945, he was married to Miss Katherine J. Backes at Loose Creek. She preceded him in death a year ago. Survivors include four daughters: Mrs. David Bish, Mrs. Carl Kixmueller and Miss Cathy Bescheinen, all of Linn; and Mrs. Martin Riegel, Loose Creek. There are three sisters and one brother surviving: Mrs. Louise Backes, Bonnots Mill; Mrs. Anna Schaefer and Mrs. Margaret Kliethermes, Loose Creek, and Hubert Bescheinen, Loose Creek, and three grandchildren. Funeral services were held Monday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father Gormley officiating. Interment was in the parish cemetery."
