She was the widow of John Wulff and her maiden name was Balkenbusch. She was the Mother of eleven children, one son, Philip and a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Meyer having passed away. Funeral services were conducted Thursday Morning by Father Denner, with burial following in the parish cemetery." (FYI - Mary Catherine Balkenbusch was b. 14 Mar 1856 in Westphalia, and m. 14 Feb 1879 - Koeltztown to John Robert Wulff)
