Obit., mid-Missouri newspaper, 1977: " Mrs. Annabelle W. Baumgartner, 62, the widow of a former Linn postmaster, died Wed., Feb. 9, (1977) at St. Francis Hospital at Tulsa, Okla. where she has lived for several years. Mrs. Baumgartner was born Sept. 5, 1914 at Loose Creek, the daughter of Peter and Anna Belle Crowe Niekamp. She was married Feb. 2, 1937, at Loose Creek, to Harold Baumgartner, who died March 21, 1966. Mrs. Baumgartner lived at Linn where her husband was postmaster for several years when he was transferred to the postal service at Kansas City. Since her husband's death, Mrs. Baumgartner had lived at Linn and Tulsa. Survivors include a son, Wm. Edward Baumgartner, Tulsa, Okla.; and two grandchildren. Services were held Monday at St. George Catholic Church in Linn with Rev. Ed Schmidt officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery."
