    3. Obit., mid-Missouri newspaper, 1977: "Edward F.. Busch, 71, Loose Creek, died Wed., April 20, (1977) at his home. He was born April 5, 1906, at Ryors, the son of Christholn Henry and Anna Nolte Busch. He was married Oct.. 20, 1934, to Laura Dena Horstmann,, who survives. Mr. Busch formerly served as deputy county clerk of Osage County. He was secretary of the Osage County chapter of Senior Citizens and was a past commander of Prince of Peace Knight Templers and past illustrious Master of Ezra Council No. 32 Royal and Select Masters, Jefferson City. He was a worthy patron of the Order of Eastern Star Chapter no. 403, Linn, and was a past master of the Masonic Lodge No. 236. He was a member of the United Church of Christ, Ryors, and served as a director of the church. He was associated with the U. S. Rents It before his retirement and also served as a school teacher in Osage County. Other survivors include: on brother, Henry W. Busch, St. Louis; one step-brother, Chas. Nunley, Cooper Hill; two sisters, Mrs. Norma Rudolph, Owensville; and Mrs. Clara Linhardt, Chamois; one step-sister, Mrs. Dora Phelps, Scottsdale, Ariz. Easter Star rites were conducted Friday at the Morton Chapel in Linn. Funeral services were held Saturday at the United Church of Christ, Ryors, with the Rev. Wayne Kidwell officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Masonic rites were conducted at the gravesite."
