Obit., mid-Missouri newspaper, 1977: "Young County Man Killed in Accident" " Dennis Busch, 20 of Hope, was killed Saturday when the motorcycle he was riding struck a rock bluff. The highway patrol reports that the 11:45 pm accident occurred when Busch's southbound motorcycle, traveling on Route U, near Linn just off Highway 50, ran off the right side of the road in a curve and struck a rock bluff. Obituary: Dennis E. Busch, 20, Hope, died Sunday morning, June 26, (1977) following a motorcycle accident on Highway U, just south of Linn. He was born June 17, 1957, at Jefferson City, the son of Elmer and Naomi Strate Busch. He attended Linn High School, graduating with the class of 1975. He attended Linn Tech graduating in 1976. He was employed by the Wolfe Const. Co. of Linn. Survivors include his parents, a sister, Mrs.. Judy Keeler of Jefferson City; two nephews; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Strate of Morrison; and paternal grandmother, Mrs. Emma Busch of Chamois. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Bob in 1969, and Tom in 1973, both resulting from drowning accidents. Services were held Tuesday at the Ebenezer United Church of Christ, Ryors. Burial was in the church cemetery."
