    3. Obituary from DIGITAL MISSOURIAN, week of October 5, 1998: "Cletus M. Wulff of Columbia, enjoyed the simple things in life. In his younger years, he enjoyed playing baseball and football. As he grew older, he was the commander of his local VFW post. Mr. Wulff died Saturday, October 3, 1998 at Boone Hospital Center. He was 70. "He was a good man," his wife, Erma, said. "He never gave me a cross word." Mr. Wulff was born Dec. 22, 1927 in Argyle to Joseph and Gertrude Brunnert Wulff. He married Erma Dickneite on Oct. 13, 1962, in Columbia. Mr. Wulff was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. He served in the Army during the Korean conflict, and he was a painter for Wulff Bros. Construction County until his retirement in 1991. Visitation for Mr. Wulff will be from 6 to 8 PM today at Memorial Funeral Home. Services will be Tuesday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 903 Bernadette Drive. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Wulff is survived by his wife, Erma Wulff of Columbia; three daughters, Barbara Cook of Columbia, Mary Clark of Marshall and Sherry Wulff of Las Vegas; two brothers, Bernard Wulff of Columbia and Joseph Wulff of Florissant; two sisters, Olive Riodan of Eureka and Alma Landry of Mesa, AZ; and six grandchildren. Memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society."
