Obit., mid-Missouri newspaper, 1936: "George W. Bradford died at his home at Linn early Saturday morning, Feb. 1, 1936. Mr. Bradford was born near Chamois March 26, 1856 and had attained the age of 79 years, 10 months, and 5 days. He was married to Miss Maggie Kurtz and to this union were born eight children, five sons and three daughters. They are Mrs. Harvey Selvidge, Bland; Miss Kizzy Bradford of home; and Miss Anna Bradford, Washington, Mo.; The sons are Fred and Harley of Syracuse, Nebraska; Dewey Bradford, Birch Tree, Mo.; and Sam of St. Louis."
