Obit. Jefferson City, Missouri newspaper, November 30, 1971: " Fredrick F. Kempker, 66, of 605 Michigan Ave., died today at a Columbia hospital following a nine-month illness. Mr. Kempker was born Jan. 21, 1905, at Mary's Home, the son of Henry and Sophie Lepper Kempker. On Nov. 10, 1925, he married Mary O. Goeller in Jefferson City. She survives. He was a member of the Holy Name sodality of St. Peter's Catholic church. He was a retired farmer. Other survivors include: two sons - Raymond Kempker of Jefferson City and Emil Kempker of Kansas City, Kansas; two brothers, Adolph Kempker of Henley, and Matt Kempker of Olean; five sisters - Mrs. August Doerhoff, Mrs. Andrew Bax, Mrs. Leo Loethen and Mrs. Fred Schulte, all of Henley, and Mrs. Charles Doerhoff of Eugene; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A rosary will be prayed Wednesday at Dulle Funeral Home. Services will be at St. Peter's Catholic Church with burial at Resurrection Cemetery."
