Obit., mid-Missouri newspaper - 1968: " Mrs. Ethia Clark, 86, of Meta died Thursday, July 4, 1968 at Charles E. Still Hospital. Mrs. Clark was born March 10, 1882, in Cole County, a daughter of Clayton and Anna Sparks Hart. On Oct. 12, 1897, she was married to John B. Clark. He died Oct. 21, 1935. Survivors include: three sons, Clarence Clark, Dixon; John Clark, Argyle; and George Clark, Meta. Five daughters, Mrs. George Shanks, Highgate; Mrs.. Lee McWilliams, state of Florida; Mrs. Bertha Terwilliger, Vienna; Mrs. Clyde Hollis and Mrs. Herbert Rowden, both of Meta. Also surviving are 36 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were Saturday at the Birmingham Funeral Home Chapel, Vienna. The Rev. Robert Carter officiated. Burial was in the Little Flock Cemetery near Vienna."
