Obit., mid-Missouri newspaper, 1976: "Mike P. Dudenhoeffer, 77, Mexico, Mo., died Friday, April 16, 1977 at the Coldwell Home there. He was a retired railroad worker and moved from Bonnots Mill to Mexico in 1964. He was born Oct. 6, 1898 at Loose Creek, the son of Jacob and Catherine Ebert Dudenhoeffer. He was married Sept. 30, 1924 to Frances M. Bonnot, who died in 1966. Survivors include; one daughter, Mrs. LaVerne Maafen of Mexico; three brothers, Charles and Edwin Dudenhoeffer, both of Jefferson City; and Jake Dudenhoeffer, Normandy; three sisters, Mrs. Paul Kliethermes, Bonnots Mill; Mrs. Wilburn Heidbreder and Mrs. Clarence Knadal, both of Jefferson City. Services were held Monday at St. Brendan's Catholic Church at Mexico with Rev. Brenden Griffey officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Preceding him in death were his wife on Nov. 29, 1966, five brothers and one sister."
