Obit., mid-Missouri newspaper, 1976: " Charles H. Cooper, 75, of 414 near West Elm Street, died Sunday (July 25, 1976) evening at St. Mary's Hospital. Mr. Cooper was born Aug. 18, 1900 in Jefferson City, son of Albert and Kathryn Hartman Cooper. he was never married and was a life-long resident of the mid-Missouri area. He worked as a laborer in Jefferson City for many years and was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church. Survivors include: two brothers, Joseph Cooper, Kansas City; and Tom Cooper, 414 near West Elm Street. Services are scheduled for Wednesday at St. Peter's Church with the Rev. John Buchanan officiating. Burial well be at Resurrection Cemetery under the direction of Freeman Mortuary."
