Obit., mid-Missouri newspaper, 1974: " Raymond C. Connell, 58, Marion, died Saturday ( 16 February 1974) at St. Mary's Health Center where he had been a patient for the last two weeks. Mr. Connell was born April 29, 1915, at Marion, the son of the late George E. and Ora Bell Allen Connell. He was married March 17, 1934, at Westphalia to the former Hazel Robertson, who survives at the home. Other survivors include: three daughters, Mrs. Ronnie McDaniel, Fulton; Mrs. Fred Seaman, Jefferson City; and Mrs. Keven Keefe, San Francisco, Calif.; three sisters, two brothers and four grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Buescher Memorial Home Chapel. Burial was in the New Hope Cemetery, Marion."
