Obit., mid-Missouri newspaper, 1977: "Mrs. Ida Eads, 75 Bonnots Mill, a native of Hope and Morrison communities, died Thursday, March 10, (1977) at Memorial Hospital following a brief illness. Mrs. Eads was born July 21, 1901 at Hope, the daughter of Simon and Emma Schroeder Held. She was married June 4, 1936 at California to Charles Eads, who died Dec. 6, 1966. Survivors include: one daughter, Mrs. Elda (Nelson) Smith, Bonnots Mill; two sisters, Mrs. Joe Stock, Linn; and Mrs. Emma Schwegler, Union; and two grandchildren. Services were held Saturday at the Morton Chapel, Linn with the Rev. Walter Wulff officiating. Burial was in the Eads Cemetery, Hope."
