Obit., mid-Missouri newspaper - 1972: " Mrs. Ida R. Cook, 97, St. Louis, died Thursday, September 7, 1972 at a St. Louis nursing home. She was born Feb. 27, 1873, in Osage County, near Linn, the daughter of John and Marie Getzler Sting. She was married at Linn to Sidney Cook, who preceded her in death. Survivors include nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Monday at the Morton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Elmer Althoff officiating. Burial was in the Verdot Cemetery, Bonnots Mill."
