Obit., mid-Missouri newspaper, 1935: "Mrs. Maggie Ann Davis was born at Damsel, Camden County, Mo. on May 16, 1901, the daughter of Henry Lee and Coralla Ray. She was first married on May 16, 1920, to James David. After her husband's death she was married for the second time to William Davis and to them three children were born. Her dying words were an old expression of confidence that heaven was her home and that she was conscious of her acceptance as God's child. After an illness of several months, she passed away at her home near Hope on may 6, 1935 at the age of 33 years, 11 months and 20 days. Besides her husband, she is survived by three daughters and one son, Leonard, all at home and by her mother and father. Funeral services were conducted in the presence of many friends at the Oklahoma Church at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning."
