Obit., mid-Missouri newspaper - 1974: " Funeral services were held Thursday, June 6 (1974) for Mrs. Carol Ann Carlisle, granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. L. Davis, Linn. Services were at the First Christian Church in Stockton. Mrs. Carlisle, 20, was a daughter of State Patrol Sgt. and Mrs. Milton A. Moore. Death was attributed to cancer. She was born Dec. 8, 1953, at Carthage, and was a 1971 graduate of Stockton High School. On June 2, 1973, she was married to Robert M. Carlisle, who survives with her parents and a sister, Miss Sandra Kay Moore. Other survivors include her maternal grandmother, Mrs. Verdie Herndon of Stockton and her paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Davis. Burial was in the cemetery at Stockton under the direction of the Brumback Funeral Home. Rev. Boyce Morton officiated at the services. Mr. and Mrs. L. L. Davis attended the funeral services last Thursday."
