    3. Obit., mid-Missouri newspaper, 1974 - " Paul Hubert Haslag, 78, Loose Creek, died Thursday, May 30, (1974) at Linn. Mr. Haslag was born Sept. 12, 1895 at Loose Creek, the son of August and Christine Gentges Haslag. On April 20, 1920, he was married at Loose Creek to the former Irene Orscheln, who preceded him in death. Mr. Haslag was a retired farmer. He also served as an Osage County judge for several years. Survivors include: two daughters, Mrs. Arthur (Lorraine) Lehmen of Linn; and Mrs.. Norman (Marcella) Kleithermes of St. Charles; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one sister, Gertrude Nilges and one brother, Henry Haslag. Funeral services were held Monday, June 3, 1974 at Immaculate conception Catholic church, loose Creek, with Rev. Kevin Gormley officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery with Mortons Service in charge of arrangements. The V.F.W. Post 4756 of Linn was in charge of military burial. Pallbearers were: Rudolph Nilges, Paul Nilges, Wm. Kuster, Norman Muenks, Bob Lock and Albert Haslag."
